Mitchel Raisman
Founder of 1111 Gong – Master sound healer
My awakening journey started when I began doing Kundalini yoga. That inspired me to take gong lessons. I later received my Gong Training certification with Ramji Singh through the IES Institute of Sound Therapy. During the pandemic, I took Dig Deeper classes with Mike Tamburo, who is a well-known multi-instrumentalist, music educator, video artist, sound explorer, and sound therapist. All these classes were the building blocks that led me to create 1111 Gong – a place to experience meditation, sound healing, and gong baths. In 2021, I attended a Master Gong training in Norway, where I sharpened my gong playing skills by exploring Gong Creativity through Mathematics and learning to play under the direction of Gong Master Don Conreaux, who was one of the five original Kundalini Yoga Teachers. “For me personally, receiving gong baths released lots of anxiety, stress, and sleepless nights. Giving the sound baths helps me release endorphins, resulting in a calmer state of mind and a more relaxed body. ”I am so grateful that I get to share these sound healing vibrations with you all, because we are One!
